What a great way to spend the evening! We booked a private tour with a tasting. We tasted eight types of beer, ranging from lambics to strong quads, plus local liqueurs. What stood out most was the taste of the Belgian chocolate served with the dark beers. The staff speaks English, and everyone is very polite.

I'm not a big fan of strong alcohol, but my husband talked me into it. As it turned out, I loved it! The tour took place at a cozy microbrewery in the city center. I especially enjoyed the cherry beers (Kriek) and the liqueur tasting. The atmosphere is friendly, and no one rushes you. Now I understand why this is considered cultural heritage.

Took a tour of a microbrewery and distillery in Brussels. It was a discovery! The guide explained so many nuances about Trappist varieties and the distillation process that I realized that before this I was just drinking a “drink.” Particularly impressive was the Westmalle Dubbel and local gin at the end of the tour.
